THE STORY: This is a Vintage Wedding Dress the bride purchased for a re-make.
THE RE-MAKE: We completely re-sized this dress for the bride as you can see was many sizes too small, and using the original lace and underlay materials re-constructed the entire bodice to fit by adding in disguised panels into the side seams. The front waist originally had a v-dip design and we converted it into a straight waist. We removed the sleeves and created a new sheer lace edged chest, and took the floor length hem into a modern tea-length hemline dress.

THE STORY: This dress was originally the brides Mothers Vintage Wedding Dress.
THE RE-MAKE: We removed the sleeves of the dress, using the lace to create these new sweet shoulder straps. We cut-out the entire chest front & back creating a new exagerated squared off neckline and tailored the dress to fit her. Being that the dress was about 6" too short, using a separate vintage veil that was also her mother's, we used that to add a ruffled hem extension that added & complemented the overall look.

THE STORY: This dress was originally purchased by the bride from a Vintage shop.
THE RE-MAKE: We completely re-vamped this dress inside & out. Removing the sleeves, the bow & tail ends and chopping off the entire train. We re-made it into a modern hi-lo tiffany style wedding dress & re-set the vintage bow on the front hip giving the dress a modern updated and sweet look.
We also made the bride this custom designed bridal bolero style PLJ#112 from the PARISIAN LADY COLLECTION to compliment her look.

THE STORY: This was originally the brides Wedding Dress which she wanted re-made & dyed for cocktail use.
THE RE-MAKE: We hemmed the dress to a cocktail length, then we custom dyed it a beautiful striking bahama blue color & added a custom stitched blue tulle detailing along the front neckline in a unique abstract positioning.

THE RE-MAKE: We removed the straps & beading to tone-down the bridal look, hemmed the dress to cocktail length & created a black tie look by adding black stones throughout the front bodice & black satin detail to outline the neckline & waist with a complementing satin waist bow in the back.

THE STORY: The original dress was the Mothers Vintage Wedding Dress.
THE RE-MAKE: We fully re-made the dress converting it for the daughter for a grad dress. We removed the sleeves, restructured the bodice, and added an entirely new lace-up corset back.

THE RE-MAKE: We completely dissasembled the dress, overlaid every piece with lace and created new sheer lace sleeves and custom edged the hems with lace.
A custom designed jacket was made to complement the dress which she ordered from our collection, style PLJ#106 from the PARISIAN LADY COLLECTION.

THE STORY: This was Chelsea's Mother's Vintage Wedding Dress.
THE RE-MAKE: We completely re-made the neckline on the front & back, removing the sleeves and designing a new square front & back with semi-wide straps. We changed the hem from a floorlength design into a modern Hi-lo hemline dress for her which she wore for her Wedding Dress Rehearsal.
A separate slip was purchased from our Private Studio Boutique to create a layered and non-sheer skirt effect.

THE STORY: This original Vintage Wedding Dress was the brides Mother-In-Law's Wedding Dress.
THE RE-MAKE: We re-constructed the entire dress turning it into a larger size by adding panels down sides with the original lace & taffeta materials. We slimmed down the original 'leg-o-mutton' styled sleeves and turned them into nicely new smoothe fitted ones, and cropped the hemline into a new knee-length version.

THE STORY: This is a Vintage Wedding dress that was originally the brides mothers wedding dress from the 50's. This was a 2-piece wedding dress that had an under sheath style dress with a high neckline front & back with lace edging and was worn with a full lace over-dress that had sleeves, a long train and button details down the back, again a high neckline was featured.
THE RE-MAKE: The bride wanted an entirely new dress designed using both dresses and incorporating into one unique design. We came up with a beautiful sweetheart neck design in the front, a sheer lace back with an oval cut-out back, edged with the original daisy lace and a hi-lo hemline under dress and hi-lo lace train. Along with restructuring all the seams and tailoring it to the brides measurements for perfect accurate fitting, cups were also added for shape and lift.

THE STORY: This Vintage Wedding dress was originally the brides Mother-In-Law's & wanting something more updated, fun & flirty, we came up with this cocktail length gown for her.
THE RE-MAKE: Completely lifting, re-gathering we re-designed the skirt to create that cocktail feel, and shortening the sleeves, re-setting the lace at the sleeve hem edges and fitting them to a more tailored look.

THE STORY: This Vintage Dress was originally Sarah's Mother's Wedding Dress.
THE RE-MAKE: We updated and re-designed the upper bodice of this dress for Sarah to wear as her leaving dress for after the wedding and lifted the hemline up to about knee length, sporting a sweet, modern flair.

THE STORY: This was a Vintage Wedding Dress that was purchased from our Private Studio Boutique Collection.
THE RE-MAKE: A few sizes too small, we completely re-sized this gown to fit our bride, then began the re-design work. Changing the front under neckline from a straight cut to a sweetheart neckline and plunging the back neckline to a deep v-neck that's softly hidden under neath this amazing original cape back style dress. Too short for her, we added some length using a lovely soft lace which we edged the entire train with, added to the front under bust, and re-set the bow detail to the back neck.
CUSTOM VEIL: To complement the gown we designed an original matching Cathedral length Veil in off-white.

THE STORY: This was Bernadettes wedding dress that no longer fit her, had not been cleaned since the wedding & that she wanted to have re-made to use as a cocktail dress and for her upcoming christmas party.
THE RE-MAKE: We completely re-structured the back of the dress by removing the zipper, buttons & waist beading, cutting back the dress to create a wider more flattering opening and then designed a new corset lace-up style back design to allow for a more comfortable fit and size ranges. We shortened the dress to a new cocktail length just slightly above the knees and embellished the diagonal line on the front of the dress with a gorgeous rich black & silver lace detail flowing from the right top edge down the front to the side of the waist. We cleaned the dress & finished with a steam service. As shown in the after pictures we finished off the look with a cute little black velvet waist ribbon that was perfectly in balance with the detailing of the lace.

THE STORY: The Original Wedding Dress was not fitting the bride in the bust area or upper bodice and it had a zipper back.
THE RE-MAKE: We completely re-structured the dress to fit our bride, adding this beautiful black satin cross-strap detail with a 3 strand pearl chest draped detail, applied this pre-purchased custom sash in a soft angled swoop around under the bust, and added an entire custom corset back with a hand-made satin lace-up sash & modesty panel. We gave her a bustle & using her mothers original veil, re-designed it to length to match her gown perfectly.

THE STORY: Our customer wanted the entire back of the dress re-designed with a sexy open feel and the neck draping removed.
THE RE-MAKE: We completely re-made the back of the dress, removing the entire draped fabric detail, we opened up the back of the dress with a very daring and low v-back design which is exactly what our customer was looking for and added a beautiful black lace detail to outline and dramatize the back neckline.

THE STORY: Originally a zippered back wedding dress.
THE RE-MAKE: Original Back of the Wedding Dress was a zipper style back which we completely removed replacing with a NEW 'Corset' style lace-up back with a 1" wide satin sash and a modesty panel which was also added in behind the corset for extra coverage. The bottom of the corset is shown with the sash ends tucked into the dress for a clean finish look.

THE STORY: Original Wedding Dress had a long train in the back which the bride wanted removed and the dress was slightly too small therefore the modesty panel behind the back corset was too small and not giving proper coverage as well as the lace caplet not fitting in the shoulder height properly.
THE-REMAKE: We removed the entire train of the dress making it a clean sweep style dress and added onto the modesty panel in the back for the bride as well as adjusting and re-fitting the lace to fit properly.

THE STORY: This customer brought us her wedding dress that she simply just wanted to be able to wear again for her anniversaries and needed shortened as if fit her perfectly already, so began the creating of the new hemline!
THE RE-MAKE: After removing the crinoline & under layers of the train, there was basically this organza length that was removed. Wanting to give her dress an extra special touch to the hem as there was this beautiful lace applique around her knee area, we kept the length classic and decided to go with a unique raw edge finish with lace edges that kept the dress looking natural and sort of organic looking which had a way softer look to it that a traditional straight hem. Making the lining slightly shorter underneath accentuated the new raw characteristic and left this bride with many options of yet again being able to accessorize up or down as she likes and playing up her look with contrast shoes and sashes.

THE STORY: There were 2 dresses included in this re-make. One a modern new dress the bride had found and the 2nd dress which was originally the brides mothers wedding dress from the 1980's which she wanted incorporated into the new dress somehow.
THE RE-MAKE: In these cases there's always a major deconstruction process as we carefully handle and choose with much care what parts we take from the older dress as sometimes with aging lace and other materials can be delicate.
The bride had 2 requests, she wanted the slit closed and she wanted a fuller skirt. So that's exactly what we did. We closed the front knee slit on the dress and added a nice semi-full built in crinoline with a soft delicate tulle underneath so fill out the skirt. With lots of beautiful lace to use from the mother's wedding dress we added a delicate trailing detail starting along the top of the neckline and complimenting the assymetrical line on the dress we placed the lace in an assymetrical line across the bustline, down the hip area and down to the mid-thigh area where we staring a cascading lace flower tulip detail with hundreds of hand folded appliques which looked like tulips. In the middle of every tulip we hand beaded hundreds of sparkling stones and silver edged beads to give a pretty glimmering effect with movement and also beaded along the edges of the back neck sash after shortening it to a more flattering length. We then created a real soft feminine feel with the dress by adding a stunning wide lace edge around the entire hem of the dress again with all the lace that was left from the mothers wedding dress which finished the gown off beautifully along.

THE STORY: This customer brought us a wedding dress she had purchased but that had not been used and wanted to be able to get wear out of it, one excellent reason many many many of our customers bring us their dresses for re-vamping.
THE RE-MAKE: As with a good majority of our dress re-makes, they need to be made appropriate for a cocktail or other party so length is key!
We eliminated all the pick-ups from the skirt of this dress and simplified the the skirt into a classic semi-full cocktail length removing all the crinoline & tulle to streamline the skirt. It needed minor taking in to fit our customer, however she was happy with the fit the way it was so again, only minor fitting was completed.
We then custom dyed the dress a beautiful baby blue tone which made it perfect for her to accessorize and dress up or dress down & belt with something fun, sparkly or a sash.

THE STORY: This customer brought us her Mom's vintage Wedding dress, which was hand-made by her Great Aunt.
THE RE-MAKE: Not much was needed in the way of alterations other than a little bit of nipping in a few seams to fit our customer just a little bit around the waist, we added on a bustle for her and decisions needed to be made on Re-making the sleeves as they were too small for the bride and for concerns of ripping. She chose to go with our recommendation of removing the current sleeves, and using the original lace we created a new, sweet little cap sleeve design for her which allowed for all the movement she was hoping for!

THE STORY: Sarah brought us her wedding dress that was already a 3/4 length dress and was lace covered in full. She wanted more of a fun take on the dress and in what a fun city as Las Vegas to say her I-Do's!
THE RE-MAKE: We completely removed the entire lace over-skirt of the dress and shortened the entire hem length to just above her knees. We added an entirely new full crinoline underneath the skirt to give it a really full, almost 'tutu' effect. We added a few sweet details to the neckline to compliment the skirt which was by adding a really delicate line of tulle around the entire neck of the dress which really softened the look. We gave a few little pleats at the center front to 'V' the neck a little more as well.
CUSTOM FASCINATOR: Sarah purchased one of our flower pins at the boutique and we created and added on a custom birdcage veil to it for her!

THE STORY: Elizabeth brought us her Mother-of-the-Groom Dress that she purchased. However not liking the shoulder draping that was on the dress as well as the quite sheer effect of the top of the front of it.
THE RE-MAKE: During her fitting, we were able to completely remove the straps/shoulder draping that was there and recommend adding a lace overlay to the front of the upper bodice of the dress. It was the perfect recommendation as she loved it and she chose a beautiful Bridal Lace we had right in stock! The final dress turned out exactly the way she wanted, the lace covering the sheer factor, as well as giving a little modesty over the front bust slit in a very elegant finish.

THE STORY: Irma booked a Bridal Shopping Appointment and came to us looking for something in a little bit of a simpler design, and fell in love with one of our Vintage Wedding Dresses from our Collection.
THE RE-MAKE: As with most of our vintage wedding dresses in stock, quite a few of them are smaller sizes, as was the case with this dress Irma fell in love with. But, she came to the right place, because this is what we specialize in. Re-making. Irma chose the option of changing the back of the dress to a new corset back from a zipper since we needed to enlarge the bodice which we created with ivory satin, and left out a modesty panel so there was a little more of a lighter, airier feel about the back. We created a new Hi-Lo hemline for her as it was an outdoor wedding on grass and the bride-to-be had a really cool tattoo on her side leg she wanted to partially show. With a few other small nip & tucks she was all set to go.
The bride finished her dress off with a beautiful pair of crystal drop earrings she purchased @ the boutique!

THE STORY: Kelsi brought us what was not only her Mother's Wedding Dress but also worn by her Grandmother. So much history, and so much love, and so much care needed!
THE RE-MAKE: We completely restructured the dress to fit our customer and redesign it to compliment her own style. We re-designing the entire bodice, we created a new v-front neckline and added a sheer tulle chest to the dress. Taking in the waistline, we opened up the back by removing the full back and creating a new low v-back that dipped to the waist, finished off with a new satin bow and single satin covered button from the original buttons on the old back. The skirt was quite sheer and hung straight to the floor, so we added an entirely new under skirt liner to the dress along with a semi-full half crinoline underneath to give the skirt some fullness in a gentle effect. We removed the old long lace sleeves and added new sheer elbow length sleeves to compliment the front chest of the dress and add a soft delicate look to the dress. We helped add some some to the dress in the bust area with gel cups to add a nice shape & silhouette to the bodice which it did not have previously. With a few final touches, darts and pleats in the right places, our customer was ecstatic at the transformation.
She finished off her newly re-made gown with a pair of matching ivory lace ballerina flats she purchased @ the boutique!

THE STORY: Brittany brought us her Wedding Dress. A lovely, very simple dress style, and absolutely perfect dress to convert very simply into a stunning cocktail dress.
THE RE-MAKE: Like most of our Brides who bring us their dresses, post wedding, is in the hopes that we can re-make it for them so they can simply wear their treasured piece, again & again. Not wanting to store the dress for years to come and make use out of it while they still fit it, or if not, that's what were here to help with.
Being this style was nice and simple, we basically just gave it a hem up to a cute & flirty party length and dyed it a Steel Grey color. And Voila, a dress ready to bring in the New Year in style!

THE STORY: Rebecca brought us her Maid-of-honor Dress. This dress was fully beaded head to toe, and the issue was that the sleeves were way too tight.
THE RE-MAKE: We then suggested re-designing them into a cap style with gathering which would a add a cute flounce look and feel meanwhile completely making it much more easy to move her arms & shoulders in the dress & for an added touch to make it special and stand out from the other bridesmaid dresses.

THE STORY: Katy brought us her Mother's original Wedding Dress & Veil.
THE RE-MAKE: During the first fitting we started right off with removing the sleeves in full & re-shaping the neckline. The bride-to-be envisioned an open neckline so that's exactly what we gave her. We designed a new V-neckline for the front with a deep plunging back neckline. Using the lace from the Original Veil, we edged the neck of the dress with a soft scalloped edge that gave it a beautiful romantic feel. We fully restructured the upper bodice to fit the bride, and removed the back zipper to a short closure and finished off the back with a row of buttons down the center back, again which were the original buttons from the old sleeves. We gave the dress a touch of something NEW with a featured contrast gross grain ribbon around the waist. And to lengthen the dress as it was too short at the center front, but to also make the old hem a new complimenting one, we edged it with lace as well.

THE STORY: Fiona brought us a Vintage 1940's Wedding Dress that was both worn by her Grandmother + Mother
THE RE-MAKE: During the initial fitting with our bride we began with removing the sleeves and collar in full & shaping out a new neckline in the front as our customer and bride to be was wanting a more open sweetheart neckline concept. We introduced a beautiful soft vintage feel delicate lace that we used to overlay the entire upper bodice with to add the the overall design, created a lower plunging back design and classic, clean simple straps for support. We narrowed the skirt fullness and re-sized the dress by adding gussets and creating a new 'Straight' waist design in the front and removed the waist piping. Clean, elegant and updated with a modern feel this bride was stunning and exquisitely happy with the finished product!

WEDDING DRESS : We custom designed this 2-piece wedding dress for our Bride-to-be Sonia. Her & her sister had already shopped for this beautiful beaded fabric which they brought to us. Sonia wanted a 2 piece and so we designed this stunning box-cut styled crop for her with a jewel neckline and sheer chest that features a sweetheart neckline and pretty gathered flounce cap sleeves. The edges have a scallop detail as does the hem of the top and hem of the skirt. We also designed a classic waist fitted skirt to compliment the box cut of the top. It has a simple 1" wide waistband to it and is fitted throughout the entire body with a semi-mermaid silhouette and skims floor length.
FOUAD'S SUIT ALTERATIONS: We tailored the pants and added buttons so suspenders could be attatched.

CUSTOM WEDDING DRESS : We custom designed this boho chic inspired soft A-line wedding dress for Stella. She wanted a flowy, soft bohemian feel wedding dress, and as she was fair skin toned, chose a beautiful weighted crepe chiffon fabric for the skirt in an off-white and overlayed the bodice of the dress in a real rustic feel rich crochet lace with bold floral designs. The neckline was a soft crossover design V-neck with a wide waisted rusched panel for a flattering tummy & silhouette and floor length.
BRIDES JEWELRY : Stella chose our Sunset & Amethyst Necklace in gold to compliment her wedding colors in purples & yellows.
MOTHER-OF-THE-BRIDE OUTFIT : Estelle shopped our boutique and chose our SLIP DRESS in a classic Black Crepe Chiffon, paired it with our lovely STAR LOVE KIMONO in Off-white & champagne fringe & accessorized her outfit with a finishing touch of a mint green stone statement necklace.

WEDDING DRESS & VEIL: Cindy came to us wanting a simple, easy yet chic wedding dress to wear for her destination wedding in Mexico. She had a favorite simple little sundress in her existing wardrobe that she brought us as an example of the look she wanted to have. Using her dress as inspiration for her actual wedding dress, we helped her choose a really lovely lightweight Off-white satin that would be perfect for the humid weather down there. Her dress featured a halter style neck tie with beaded ends that draped down her back with a fitted silhouette and a very modest train. We accented the dress with a lovely under bust beaded detail to match the straps & designed her a custom matching off-white veil with the same beading. Simple, beautiful & exactly what she wanted!
MAID-OF-HONOR DRESS: The maid-of-honor as well brought in to us a favorite little summertime dress she had which she wanted duplicated in an appropriate fabric for Mexico. She chose a lovely Emerald Green silky knit to have it made in which was a perfect compliment to her red hair. A simple silhouette, the neckline has a cross-over front with thin straps and an elegant cowl back neckline. a fitted ankle length dress with a high leg slide slit made it the perfect piece to walk in the sand barefoot.
CUSTOM DOGGY BOWTIE: We designed this fabulous little matching off-white satin bowtie for the Bride-to-be's dog for pictures....and she loved it...and we think by the look on his face we think HE might have loved it more, lookin' like a little king Mr.Baxter!

WEDDING 2-PIECE SUIT: Nancy came to us looking for a classic, clean, but obviously special and uniquely original suit for her wedding. She chose 2 designs from our Collection, one being a vest and with a few design edits, became a one-of-a-kind. Secondly, she chose our best selling 'Trouser' pant style with a classic waist fit, back darts and a straight leg, which was required to fit over her cowboy boots. She chose a lovely ivory suiting fabric and voila, she was ecstatic at the final outcome and fitting her body shape just right!

This gown was designed for our customer using a rich navy blue satin & champagne lace. It features a halter style neckline with a sweetheart neck wide satin pleated detail along the neckline with a v-point design. A fully figure flattering style it is fitted throughout the body with a mermaid hem that has multiple gussets to add fullness and flounce. The back neckline dips to a soft v-neck with the same wide satin edge and has a slight sweep to the hem in the back. We also designed her a matching shawl in satin to compliment and keep the cool night breeze away.

WEDDING 2-PIECE SUIT: We custom designed and made this Cocktail Wedding 2-piece for our bride-to-be in a beautiful off-white satin & large rhinestone studded buttons down the center of the top. The top was designed with a sweet peplum on it, a very flattering style which flowed over the waist complimented by the pegged hemline of the pencil skirt which ended in a classic Tea-length finish.

WEDDING DRESS: This Bride came to us with a very specific look she wanted. She wanted a classic cocktail length wedding dress with a slight Hi-Lo to the hemline to show off her fabulous cowboy boots she was going to wear for her big day. She chose a beautiful large patterned daisy style bridal lace in a cotton crochet feel to give a nice outdoor country feel to her outdoor wedding. We designed her a sweet V-neckline style dress front & back with a sweetheart neckline and edged with a delicate scalloping detail around the armholes & hemline. We gave her a nice full skirt which she wanted along with our favorite detail to any skirt, pockets. With a contrasted yet nice and fresh look of an under-body dress in white, it set off the ivory toned lace which she loved. And she rocked the dress in her style in those cool boots!

BIRDCAGE VEIL: We designed this Birdcage Veil for our customer to sit on the side of her face. Incorporated were these pretty delicate white feathers, a few crystals and of course our classic birdcage netting. She loved it!

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE DRESS: The first 3 photos are showing the custom Mother-of-the-bride dress we designed in a blue lace over ivory satin in a tea-length. It has a simple scoop neck with short sleeves, a wide rusched waist that slims and is very flattering and a full swing skirt.

THE STORY: Our lovely grad girl Alyssa came to us with a simple strapless a-line skirted dress that she owned. She envisioned a really elaborate and multi-layered skirt in her dream grad dress and hoped we could work with this existing dress and add to it. That is exactly what we did.
THE RE-MAKE: We hand draped layer by layer a stunning black lace onto the dress, edging it with a special finishing to give it a really bold scalloped finish that stood out in a large ruffled effect. We created a new hi-lo skirt with the lace and with the original underskirt layer which gave it a real romantic feel. We then finished it off with these stunning scalloped straps for some added support and visual balancing, and Alyssa modeled for us with her own lace finger-less gloves for a real feminine goth look.

It features a neck tie that ties at the back, and a stunning full front gathered bodice that is completely backless. The waist is semi-dropped with a soft v-back waist that trails off into a multi layered flounce skirt.
